Inspired by Loie Fuller's pioneering experiments and performance techniques at the birth of electricity, this act is performed upon a unique Art Nouveau style revolving 'light platform', which lights a flame-like Serpentine costume from beneath to create an illusion of a dancing, living flame. The act uses both the Isis wings-style costume and chinese veil fans to gorgeous effect, as well as fire cups. At its most revealing point, a full Art Nouveau rhinestoned bodysuit can worn, making this act suitable for all. As well as a timed act, it is also suitable for an extended installation.
